From Manufacturing to Site Assembly: How Bloxtone Works

Crane positioning a precast concrete module at a construction site

Bloxtone is being developed as a coordinated construction system linking design, factory production, transportation, and site assembly. The process starts with project-specific planning for module layouts, structural requirements, building-service pathways, and connections. This information would guide manufacturing through repeatable methods and documented quality procedures.

Before casting, electrical conduits, plumbing and ventilation pathways, communications provisions, and other service requirements would be coordinated with the structure. Planning these details early is intended to reduce unnecessary cutting and field adjustments. Final fixtures, appliances, and finishes would be completed separately.

Transportation and site logistics would be planned alongside design and production. Module dimensions and weights, delivery routes, crane access, lifting requirements, temporary staging, and installation order would be reviewed with the responsible project teams. Delivery schedules would be aligned with site readiness and the intended assembly sequence.

At the project site, modules would be lifted, positioned, and connected according to project-specific engineering and installation plans. Alignment, connections, and service interfaces would require inspection and coordination before subsequent work proceeds. Factory preparation could reduce some on-site activities, while foundations, final service connections, finishing, and other project requirements would still need to be completed.

Bloxtone’s objective is to create a more organized and predictable path from design through installation. Prototype testing and production experience would help refine the system, while actual project schedules and outcomes would depend on engineering, approvals, manufacturing capacity, transportation, and site conditions.
